In line with the national programme, lateral flow (rapid) testing is available to anyone without COVID symptoms, free of charge.
How to receive your free test kits?
There are different ways you can receive them. You can:
1. Order free test kits direct to your home – from the GOV.UK website HERE
2. Collect self-test kits to take home – more info HERE
3. Get a test at a local testing site – more info HERE
Tests can be collected to take home from a number of sites and chemists around the city, including Boots and Superdrug in Broadmead. (You do not need to book an appointment).
How does the test work?
Once you have taken your test, it will give you the result within 30 minutes. You must report your test result, whether it is positive or negative, within 24 hours on the GOV.UK website HERE.
If you can’t register it online, call 119.
