Enhanced cleansing – ongoing
On top of Bristol City Council’s ‘business as usual’ cleansing, Broadmead BID shares a pavement cleansing team with Redcliffe & Temple BID, with the aim of delivering an excellent service in a cost-effective way. The service is reviewed quarterly.
The two BIDs jointly fund a team of three plus a Boschung scrubber dryer and a jet washer. The team tackle the ongoing issue of chewing gum removal on the streets throughout Broadmead, and also target those tough areas that need extra deep cleansing. They normally work in Broadmead on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
