Halloween Trail with LoyalFree – October 2021

The Broadmead BID team have worked with LoyalFree to create a Halloween ghost trail, running from 18 to 31 October.

All retailers were given the opportunity to take part, with the first 21 to reply selected as ghost hosts. They were provided with one A4 and one A3 poster each and could display either or both of them, with one to be placed in their shop window. Participants need to download the LoyalFree app (which is free to download and use) and follow the Broadmead BID Ghost Trail. At each location they are able to scan a QR code to ‘check in’, if they scan all 21 QR codes, they are entered into a draw to win prizes donated by Starbucks, Lush, Primark and Specsavers.

The event’s primary objective is to encourage families to visit Bristol Shopping Quarter during the half term holiday and stay longer, exploring the whole area to find the ghosts. The secondary objective is to raise awareness of the LoyalFree app, encouraging levy paying businesses to add their deals and loyalty schemes, and the public to download and use it.
