On 7 September we sent a Bristol Shopping Quarter newsletter to 14,912 subscribers.
The objective was to share news, offers and events, including an introduction to new stores Art Club Market and Two Seasons/Volcom; Rush Hair’s Afghanistan appeal; Jungle Mania’s free meal offer; the drop-in Covid vaccination clinic in Cabot Circus; job vacancies; and the LoyalFree app.
We included a competition, in partnership Klosterhaus, to increase the open rate and to promote their Oktoberfest event. The competition was also promoted on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, with entrants invited to opt in to receive future newsletters and to receive emails Klosterhaus, this resulted in several new subscribers and a list of over 500 contacts that we were able to pass on to our competition partners.
All Broadmead BID retailers were invited to submit content, including online deals, good news stories, shout-outs for their teams, and any virtual activities and events they have planned.
Future newsletters will go out on the first Tuesday of each month.
