Broadmead BID joined forces with The Bristol Hippodrome and Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel to put together a fabulous New Year treat for one lucky person and their family.
This panto season, Dick Whittington (soap legend, actor and musical theatre star Shane Richie) will be seeking fame, fortune and happiness as he battles Queen Rat (Jennie Dale, Captain Captain from CBeebies Swashbuckle) and her rodent hoards to become Mayor of London and win the day. Opening on Saturday 7 December and running until Sunday 5 January, Dick Whittington promises to be an action-packed pantomime full of laughter, music and spectacular special effects, featuring dazzling sets and costumes from The London Palladium production.
Our winner and three guests will be watching the show on Friday 3 January 2020. They won’t have to worry about getting home after the show because their prize also includes one night’s accommodation (for two adults and two children under the age of 14) at the fabulous Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel with breakfast the next morning as a final treat!
That’s not all as our lovely friends at The Bristol Hippodrome gave us a second family ticket, also for 7pm on Friday 3 January 2020, for a very lucky runner-up and their three guests!
The competition broke Bristol Shopping Quarter website records on its launch day and went on to attract 2,773 entries!
The objective was to draw attention to Bristol as a festive destination, with great hotels, theatres and shops, while driving traffic to our BSQ website and attracting new subscribers to our e-newsletter.
