Sofab Sports has opened in Broadmead
A new Sportswear Outlet has opened in Bristol Shopping Quarter – Sofab Sports, a social enterprise empowering inclusive employment through the power of retail.
Sofab Sports sells sports fashion wear at discounted rates, across a variety of sports and products, including the biggest brands in the game.
Sofab Sports was founded in 2014, by 16-year-old founder Dale Rawlins, with the ambition of changing the UK employment scene with fair opportunity being given to all. The business, which until now predominantly sold on marketplaces such as eBay, has grown to be the biggest in many of its categories on the UK platform.
Their flagship store in Broadmead is the first step for Sofab Sports to stand behind its own brand, with a new look website being produced alongside the opening. The new store has already created 6 new job opportunities within the city, and in line with Sofab Sports’ social mission, some of which have been given to those classed as furthest from the employment line.
To achieve their social mission, Sofab Sports relies on consumer trading and do not take donations or government grants, competing in a challenging sector with some of the UKs biggest businesses, and using a workforce that often gets overlooked.
Their new flagship store is located at 30/32 Broadmead BS1 3HA (near Deichmann).
