Applications open until 11.59pm, Friday 30 September 2024 (or when all funding is allocated, whichever is earliest).
The Greener High Street grant
The scheme is available to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that are set up as Sole Traders or simple Partnerships and are operating their business from a fixed property in Bristol’s city centre or on one of the city’s 46 designated high streets.
Grants from £500 to £5,000, aiming to help high street businesses reduce carbon emissions, cut utility costs and improve energy efficiency.
Application deadline: 11.59pm, 31 December 2024
Deadline for project work and invoices: The deadline to complete all work, purchase all items and submit all invoices for agreed costs is 11.59pm, 31 January 2025
The West of England Combined Authority (WECA)
Safer Shops West
Eligible businesses can access 20% match funded grants of up to £4,000 to use towards the purchase of security equipment. Items may include:
– Body worn cameras
– CCTV
– In-store anti-theft measures
The grant scheme is open until 30 September 2024 or until funding runs out.
