Seven days a week, the Bristol Waste and Bristol City Council street cleansers, graffiti removal experts and officers are deep-cleaning the wards of Bristol. Now, they’re also giving communities the tools to have a #BigTidy of their own.
Would you like to become a Big Tidy Business?
All you need to do is make the Big Tidy pledge, and commit just a few minutes each week collecting and disposing of litter to help bring the sparkle back to our high street.
By becoming a Big Tidy business, you will:
– Boost your business’s sustainability credentials
– Improve the appeal of our high street
– Get some fresh air
– Build friendships within your team
– Join (friendly) competitions with other Big Tidy businesses
– Strengthen your business’s relationship with the community
Free litter picking kits, funded by the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund/Welcome Back Fund, are available – email firstname.lastname@example.org to order one.
What is the Big Tidy?
The Big Tidy project has been helping empower all Bristolians to love where we live since 2019. We want residents and businesses to live and work in a tidy environment.

Let your BID team now so they can share the news.
Have you got a rubbish question to ask?
The team will be in Broadmead on Monday 30 May talking waste, recycling and how they’re bringing the sparkle back to all areas of Bristol. Their friendly officers can chat to you about the project and how to pledge to make your area cleaner and greener. You can even test your recycling knowledge and have a go at sorting rubbish.
