Place Support Partnership – June 2023 to March 2025
In 2023 and 2024, Broadmead BID teamed up with business savings and support experts Place Support Partnership (PSP) to help levy-paying businesses navigate the energy and cost of doing business crises.
PSP worked with businesses to identify and realise savings when considering new contracts and choosing suppliers. They could also support businesses to navigate the current energy crisis and achieve best value on services like electricity, gas, water, telecoms, merchant services, insurance, and pest control.
The programme was funded by Broadmead BID as part of our business support services and was available to all levy payers totally free of charge.

You could save up to 30% on electricity, gas, and telecoms; up to 25% on pest control; up to 20% on water; and up to 10% on insurance.
The pilot scheme, which ran from June to September 2023, identified over £19,000 worth of savings. Realising the savings would more than cover the total BID levy of the businesses that took part, and give them money to spend on other things. Following the pilot, we extended the scheme until March 2024 but it is currently paused.
